I actually wrote this post two weeks ago but because I haven't received most of the photos from my friends, it was put on hold. It has been two weeks! Yes, two weeks of not blogging..I'm so sorry. I have been caught up with my attachment at seremban (hospital tunanku jaafar). If you see a pharmacist walking around the wards with high wedges, most probably it's me. i can-NOT wear flats. I don't know why. It's like i'm so used to heels, wearing flats makes me feel uncomfortable.
Anyway, everything seems to be going well for me over there. I'm starting to fit in around the house with my new housemates. Still trying. You see, I don't usually hang out with these girls because we all belong to different cliques in uni but once you get to know them a little better, they're an awesome bunch of people. There some bitchin' among the girls but yeah, six girls with strong personalities under a roof..small explosions are bound to happen here and there=p
The first week in seremban was a small struggle in my part. I couldn't sleep well. I felt homesick for days and I was trying to get the hang of waking up early every morning so that we could start clerking medical cases in the wards as the doctors do their morning ward rounds. That way you get to learn more by listening in to what the doctors discuss with the medical students on how to manage a particular patient. And most of the time, after lunch, i get extremely tired-_- so i just wonder around the wards, look at medication charts and gossip about a few good-looking doctors=) a FEW ok. there aren't many, you know. we then proceed to the library and wait for the others so that we can go home! So the things we look forward to each day are LUNCH, TIME TO GO HOME (the earlier, the better), DINNER, STARBUCKS (the only place we can get internet!) and FRIDAYS (home sweet home, here we come!).

Last Sunday i had a sunburn. A very bad one at that. My mistake was not covering myself with sun block. I totally forgot! A HUGE mistake. Sun block is very important especially in a country like Malaysia. Incidences of skin cancer are on a rise man! It was sweltering hot at the Sepang Circuit. The sun must have thought like, “Wow. Lots of people here. Wait guys, let me just turn my heat rays up a notch. There you go. Enjoy!” -_-! But the morning before the sunny afternoon was cool with a light breeze. I like. We had dim sum for breakfast, at this famous eatery in Puchong. Vincent belanja, arigato^^ And after that, drove for a good half an hour to Sepang.
I tagged along with a small crowd of friends. I met Jackee and Vincent for the first time. Joel was there too..so at least some one i know. On the girls side, there’s me, Joyce and Jacqueline. 3 guys and 3 girls, perfect!
Jackee here and his cool sunglasses.
on the left is vincent.
Yup WELCOME to A1GP Malaysia! Just had to take a pic at the entrance^^
The power of free tickets. It can drag you out under the hot sun of Sepang just to watch a motorcar race you’ve never thought of watching even if you saw an advert of it in the newspaper.
angeline and her pink umbrella.
We had loads of freebies. Free caps, wrist bands and posters! All yellow in colour. I didn’t know that the Malaysian team is represented by the colour yellow. Till i saw throngs of supporters wearing yellow overalls, wrapping the shoulders with the Malaysian flag. Very fashionable (pun intended).
Itu kereta lumba Malaysia
There was a booth which does face painting for free.
I’d like to put stars on my face but i was sweating so much, I was afraid the paint might smear all over my face. So asked her to paint the flag of Korea on my arm instead.

Joyce had red stars across the side of her left cheek.
I saw a line up of Lotus Elise sport cars OMG! I love the Lotus. So cute! See me? I'm smiling happily beside the orange Lotus.
oo la la i bet the guys would love looking at these lovely ladies=) i saw this guy's girlfriend whack him on the head for looking (almost like staring) at one of the A1GP babes!
After the face painting (and lots more after that), we had to rush to the grand stand because the race was about to start! We saw Skye, waiting to take pictures after pictures of the race. So semangat! And soon enough, we were also busy with our cameras. I don’t think we really concentrated on the race at all. Well, not for me.
haha Medical
tengok muka-muka audience nie
I love this shot!
Most of the photos in this post was taken by of these two talented photographers - Joel and Joyce=)
wah tengok camera canggih pak cik
the line up of cars
men drabbed in red - i wonder who they are supporting...
Team New Zealand. The coolest team on track despite the hot weather.
Team Switzerland.
Nice color combo. Striking green and red^^
So many ang mohs’ in one place. Can’t help but to concentrate on them! Hehe. Most of the Eurasians i saw were really cute=) Ok the race we were watching is called the sprint race. So here we get to see who is the fastest team among the rest.
Winners on podium. First place goes to Switzerland. Second New Zealand and third place belonged to France (did i get that in correct order?)
One thing I have to comment is the deafening sound of the engines. Every time a car crosses the start line, it emits a vroom so insanely loud that it’ll leave your ears ringing afterwards. Can’t hear much after that. If that is the aftermath of an A1GP race, I hate to think how temporarily deaf I would be after an F1 race. Parents, please don’t bring your kids to these events again. Love their ears..and yours too!
(Pic taken by Joyce)
Race over. What to do? Feature race is at 3pm. It was nearly 12 and the sun is flexing his muscular rays over us. Drinks! 100PLUS never looked more resistible.
At 3 dollars per can. That’s highway robbery!
We decided not to stay for the feature race. It seems that the sprint race was good enough for us. But actually, we were famished with hunger. Ok la..sounds so dramatic. Just very hungry. The food stalls at the circuit area were not so appetizing..fast foods to make a quick buck from events like these. Makan Bak Kut Teh!
hello encik..tahu baca ka? Kata Dilarang memijak rumput! Apasal you duduk atas rumput pulak tu?
On our way out, another line of cars. But not just any car. Ferraris'! You know what..I always considered my day lucky when I see a Ferrari drive by. It’s not very often you get to see a beauty like that on the same road as you and lucky days don’t come by so often too. And somehow, my day is made lucky when I see one. Anyway, this was like a whole line! Super duper lucky me?
That's a wrap. What a day it was! I want to see the next F1 race!
xoxo
